ART GALA DINNER BY JUNKO KOSHINO JUNKO KOSHINO’s first art exhibition, together with a gala dinner adorned with cuisine designed around a monochrome theme. Her signature monochrome costumes and a newly created art painting by JUNKO KOSHINO — born of chance — were unveiled for the first time. Toward the end of the dinner, a performance by a renowned opera singer enlivened the evening, making it a one-night-only event that distilled the world of JUNKO KOSHINO. In Japan, we describe something delicious as “bimi” — a “beautiful taste” — and behind this lies the belief that the craft of beauty is woven into all things. Not only in food but also in music, painting, and every form of expression, the craft of beauty must be brought forth.
