On October 28, 2018, JUNKO KOSHINO held a homecoming fashion show in Osaka for the first time in about 30 years at the Osaka Prefectural Government Office, the oldest prefectural government building still in active use. A highlight of the Osaka Culture Festival, the event took as its theme “Connecting Osaka’s future and culture through light.” Adding staging unique to Osaka, it became a contemporary show fusing fashion with danjiri (festival float) drums and a children’s dance team recruited through auditions.
